Our institute hosts over five national tourism and hospitality conferences annually, bringing together experts from across Africa. Research Colloquium

BIHC-PATHRI organizes an annual Research Students’ Colloquium, offering postgraduate students a unique opportunity to gain presentation and public speaking experience. This event allows students to present their research, engage with peers from various academic disciplines, and interact with experienced researchers from both national and international backgrounds.

Policy Forums

To bridge the gap between tourism research and policy, we host quarterly policy forums. These forums provide a platform for decision-makers and hospitality organizational leaders to discuss the latest reforms, research insights, and best management practices. Our policy forums aim to inform and influence policy-making processes with evidence-based research.

Publications

The institute has established the Pan African Journal of Tourism and Hospitality, dedicated to disseminating scientific research on diverse thematic areas related to the tourism and hospitality sector. The journal features empirical research, discussions of current issues, and case studies that are relevant to both academics and industry practitioners.
